First, a baseline measurement is taken.

These series of measurements are taken at the beginning and end points of the 12 main meridians, allowing for insight into the patients current situation, called the “compensated state.”

This state is the situation in which the patient finds oneself when he or she comes into the practice, where the body is trying as hard as possible to compensate for present energy disruptions.
Disturbed meridians can be masked by the body.

Then a second measuring is completed, after certain provocation to the body is initiated.

Provocation is the stimulation of acupuncture point Tm20 (the crown chakra) with a piezo-electric pen or a bio-comb (used for infants and small children.)

With this stimulation a significant amount of energy is temporarily added to the body, this allows part of the compensation to decrease.

Now we are able to see, when we compare the baseline measurement with the new measurements, where the energy flow is blocked, which meridians have a problem, and where the largest and most serious blockages reside.

Every meridian in our body is linked to an organ, an emotion, a vertebra, a part of the kinetics system, a tooth or molar, a chakra, and a part of the nervous, cardiovascular and lymphatic systems.

Stagnation in the energy flow of a meridian has consequences for all parts of the related areas.

Thus, the liver meridian corresponds with the liver, the canine teeth, anger and frustration, protein metabolism, the crown chakra, the energy flow in the liver meridian, and parts of the knees and eyes.

Every meridian will be shown on Prognos as having a swell (excess) or a dip (deficiency.) An excess or a deficiency has specific consequences for the meridians concerned. We can also see this connection through corresponding emotions which appear in day-to-day life.

For example, the gall bladder meridian can cause feelings of bitterness. An energy excess gives feelings of guilt, while an energy deficiency stimulates anger. The positive characteristic of the gall bladder meridian is the ability to be deeply and seriously thoughtful.

The 24 main meridians (the 12 on the left and right), such as the Chinese describe, share a relation with certain body systems, a tooth or a molar, an emotion, a system in the body, a chakra, an energy flow in the meridian, and part of the kinetic system.

Stagnation of the energy flow in a meridian (excess or deficiency of the energy) has consequences on all components of the related areas.

If we know which meridians are disturbed, we can look at the reason why they are disturbed.

15 Diagnosis Frequency Spectra (DFS)
Through conducting a 15 Diagnosis Frequency Spectra, the present situation of the body is determined and the roots of the disruptions, accessible at the moment, are determined.

Specific signals that correspond to the cause of specific symptoms, are added to the body, and then the responses of the meridians to these signals are recorded.

These signals have been digitized, and, through the means of earphones, are transmitted to the cerebellum and sent directly into the body. In the resulting graph, one can read which systems in the body are suffering from the most disruptions.

The most common causes of disruptions are:
Viruses, Bacteria’s, Funguses, Parasites, Toxic load, Psyche, Teeth and Molar issues, Geopathy/ Electrosmog, Miasmas, Scar tissues, Disturbances of the Nuclei , Hormones, Vitamins/Minerals, Chakras, and the Matrix.

Cause and consequences are closely linked in the body. For example, a vitamin or mineral shortage or hormone imbalance is usually a consequence of a disturbance, but can also be a cause of disturbances in the body.

An allergy can result from presence of leaky gut syndrome, which can also be originally caused by the presence of a parasite, which can also have developed from a weak immune system, which can be caused by lung meridian disruptions that has arisen from unresolved sadness.

Long-term existing emotions can cause changes in the nuclei. If these changes occur, they can have an influence on our behavior and our health.
Through the DFS technique, we can determine which causes result in energy disruptions and which organs and systems are affected because of the disruptions. This allows us to create a direction for treatment of the individual.

105 Therapy Frequency Spectra (TFS)
Through the means of the Therapy Frequency Spectra, it can be determined which specific substances can be used in treatment.

Therapy frequencies are derived from other fields of study including Homeopathy, Orthomolecular, Ayurveda, Phytotherapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, among others.

Diagnosis and Therapy Frequencies are digitized frequencies (signals) that come from the computer. Through the use of this technology, the use of direct sampling of medicine is no longer required as often. The frequencies are delivered by means of headphones, and are sent directly into the cerebellum.

The 15 Diagnosis Frequency Spectra (DFS)

1. Funguses
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of fungi gives information on the presence of pathogenic fungi, traces of fungi, and yeast which can lead to mycoses (fungus disorders), which can be internal, such as Candida, and external, such as fungus of the skin and nails

2. Viruses
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of viruses indicates where there are pathogenic viruses, prions (the pre-stage of viruses), or infections present, as well as if there are issues with RNA/DNA (programming of viruses in the genes).

It is estimated that there are 5000 viruses in the world. Viruses that can become pathogenic and cause very long lasting after-effects are: Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus (glandular virus EBV) Coxsackie, Meningitis, Hepatitis, Influenza, Adenovirus, RS virus (Human respiratory syncytial virus), Polio, German measles and Herpes.

3. Bacteria
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of bacteria shows if there are pathogenic bacteria present in the body such as Salmonella, Streptococci, Staphlyoccen, Enterococcen, Camplyobacteria, Helicobacter, E-Coli, Chlamydia, Shigella, Haemophilus Influenza B, Legionella, Pseudomonas, Pneumococcal, Tetanus and spirocheet Borelia (Lyme).

Bacteria are frequently treated with antibiotics.
If long-term after-effects remain, they can be treated energetically.

4. Parasites
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of parasites shows if there are pathogenic parasites present in the body.

Parasites are microcellular organisms, which feed on the host.
Worms includes flatworms, tapeworm, and pinworm, such as Buskii, roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides, Wuchereria bancrofti, hookworm.)
Other parasites include Malaria, Dientamoeba fragilis, Entamoeba Histolytica, Giardia Lamblia, Blastocystis Hominis, Cyclospora, and Toxoplasmosis (sporozoan).

5. Toxic load
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of toxic load shows if there are any pathogenic toxic load problems in the body.

Toxins are not live substances, and at a certain concentration can cause disruptions in the body. Thus, substances that are useful, can also become toxic.

Unhealthy toxins include:
– solvents such as benzene and propylalcohol
– heavy metal such as mercury, lead, cadmium, palladium, titanium, and amalgam
– chemical substances such as CFK, arsenic, and formaldehyde
– vaccinations and mycotoxins from funguses, including fusarium, aflatoxins, and in patients with mycosis

  6. Geopathy/Electrosmog
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of geopathy/electrosmog shows if there is a geopathic and electrosmog load in the body.

Geopathy are disruptions from natural water radiation, cosmic radiation, and earth radiation.

Electrosmog is the disruption caused by artificially created electromagnetic fields, such as high voltage lines, satellites, radars, mobile telephones, electrical appliances and electrical wiring.

People in a horizontal position (asleep) are more receptive to the effects of electromagnetic fields.

7. Scar Tissue Disturbances
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of scar tissues disturbances shows if there are disruptions in the body caused by scarring. Scars in the skin and other tissues and organs can have a disturbing influence on the energy flows of the meridians.

Scar tissue is more resilient than normal tissue, and can result in energy deficiencies or stagnation.

The scar tissue’s corresponding meridians can be affected, which can result in problems in corresponding tissues, organs, functions, teeth and molars, vertebras, chakras, and emotions.

8. Teeth and Molars
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of teeth shows if there are disruptions in the jaw or teeth.

Teeth issues include: Gingivitis,kieferostitis, Parodontitis, Pulpitis, Root Canals, Gingival Sulcus, Toothfollikel, and Granuloma of the teeth.

Each tooth corresponds to a certain meridian, and each meridian concerned is linked to tissues, organs, chakras and a range of emotions. If there is an issue with a corresponding meridian, symptoms can arise. Persistent teeth complaints are very often found in conjunction with other chronic symptoms in the body.

9. Psyche/Emotions
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of psyche/emotions shows if there are disruptions or unresolved emotions.

These emotions are connected to meridians, as well as the meridians corresponding tissue, functions, organs, vertebras, chakras, teeth and molars, and emotions.

Every meridian corresponds with a certain emotion. These emotions include Grieving, Fixation, Worrying, Lack of self confidence, feelings of Hurt, Indecisiveness, Fear, Anxiety, Frustration, Sadness, Guilt, Bitterness and Anger.

10. Nuclei
The diagnosis frequency spectrum of the nuclei shows if there is pathological change in the nuclei.

The nuclei contains the nerve centers in the brain that regulate stress, handle long-term violent emotions, and affect behaviors.

Chronic stress and serious emotional trauma can potentially lead to change in the nuclei. These changes are reversible.

There are 13 parts to the nuclei.
Many chronic blockages can result in changes in the nucleus and result in:
PTSS (post-traumatic Stress syndromes), Neurosis, Psychosis, Fear, Phobias, Bulimia, Anorexia, Sleep impairments, and Depression.

11. Miasmas
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of miasmas shows if there are any indications of disruptions in the DNA. Examples of issues in the DNA, arising from previous generations, include: Gonococcinum, Luesinum, Psorinum, Tuberculinum and Metallum (blockages by heavy metal.) These can result in diverse complaints in the body.

12. Chakras
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of the chakras shows if there are blockages in one or more of the 14 chakras. Disruptions of the chakras lead to energetic disruptions in the meridians. Chakras are intersections of energy in the body, which provide the meridians with energy.

Charkas are connection gateways which are capable of transforming the consciousness of people into energy in the body. Each chakra corresponds with a certain meridian.

13. Hormones
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of hormones shows if there are blockages in the endocrine system, where hormones originate.

If blockages are present, it can indicate an obstruction in the Hypothalamus, Pituitary gland, Adrenal glands, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Pancreases, Thymus, Testes and Ovaries.

14. Vitamins/Minerals/Amino Acids
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of vitamins/minerals/amino acids shows if there is a shortage of or disruptions in the vitamins, minerals and amino acids in the body.

The deficiencies or disruptions can be caused by prolonged shortages in dietary intake caused by soil deficiencies, environmental pollution, fast-food, food processing, increased stress, lack of rest and other chronic symptoms.

15. Cell Matrix
The diagnosis-frequency-spectrum of the cell matrix shows if there is impairment with the cell matrix.

The cell matrix is the tissue that surrounds the cells. The matrix is also called the Basis Bio Regulation System (BBRS) or the extracellular matrix (ECM). All substances are passing through the matrix when passing into or out of the cell.

With many chronic disorders there is pathogenic polution in the system, accumulation of diseases precursors, and changes in the matrix itself. This results in disruptions in the immune system, organ tissues, cell functions, acidity levels, as well as poor communication
between cells.

Complaints often have several possible causes
• With ME, chronic fatigue-syndrome, or post viral-syndrome there can be latent virus activity, particularly affecting the liver, the kidney, and the spleen meridians, in combination with unresolved emotions of stress arising from busy periods of over activity.

• With ADHD, there can be specific issues regarding food sensitivities, specific shortages of fats and amino acids, and issues arising from electrosmog or geopathy toxins, which can have a negative influence on the brain.

• With ALLERGIES, a blockage in the immune system has occurred, through one or more of the 15 IDT causes in the body. Prognos can measure them.

Measurements with Prognos

Information about the technique.

A connection between the patient and the Prognos system must be made to be able to carry out the measurements of the patient. In order to make this connection, a band is placed around the patient’s wrist. The flow of energy is then monitored at the beginning and end points of the meridians

Measurements can be reproduced. 4 microchips regulate the process.
Within 18 milliseconds, 400 measurements per point are conducted. The computer then interprets and processes this data, which then appear on a graph on the monitor.

Measurements are conducted with an extremely small flow of energy in a very short period of time.
The flow of energy through the skin is 455 billionth Watt seconds.
The static is filtered, and the computer calculates the energetic value of the meridians.
With the measurement reach of 20 kOhm to 60,000 kOhm, it is also possible to get a measurement of very sick patients.

The time required to take the measurement depends on how high your natural resistance is.
At a resistance of 1000 kOHM, the time required for the measurement is 12m/second. At the resistance at 20,000 kOhm, the time required for the measurement is 150m/second.

The electric load on the skin is nothing, and because of this, the cells are not influenced during measuring. The system has an error of 0.25% (absolute reproducibility attributed to Prof. F. Popp.)

The acupuncture point is not electronically or mechanically charged.
The acupuncture tool has been reinforced, and as a result, the pressure of the measurements of 20 grams is always constant and the measurement energy flow of 0.4 microcomputers amps is very small, which results in a guarantee of reliability and reproducibility.

No electrosmog surrounds the apparatus, due to the use of a 1.2 volt battery. The connection between the apparatus to the computer takes place through infra-red technology, so there is also no electric influence from the computer system itself.

All measurements are received and processed by the computer and, with the use of mathematical algorithms, graphs are produced. The Prognos software contains 12 million sequences of measurements, through which the norms for patients has been defined according to age and gender.

On the display device, one can see which meridians are close to normal and which have too much or too little energy.

Oriental wisdom and Western science
For five years, the Portland State University in Oregon has conducted systematic studies of the mechanisms of acupuncture and also researched similarities between Western diagnosis techniques and Oriental energetic readings.

In the Technical University of Dresden, research has been undertaken regarding the Autonomic Nervous system, Heart Rate Variability and their link with meridians.

Measuring devices; BP versus GSR
Before Polarization (BP) and Galvanic Skin Responses (GSR) plays a role in ensuring the reliability of skin resistance measurements.

Through means of skin resistance measurements and through the use of the measurement apparatus, we collect information on the current energetic situation of the meridians.

To gain reliable skin resistance measurements it is important that:
• The pressure of  the point is low (0.49 Newton), short and constant.
• The amperage is very low (at a skin resistance of 22,000 kOHM, measurements have an
amperage of 0.227uA)
• The length of measurement is no longer than 400ms (this depends on the skin resistance
between 0.4 and 400 milliseconds)
• No influence is exerted on the point with water, no cream is used to increase the conduction
of energy, and there are no strong electromagnetic fields present

If the measurement is longer than 400 milliseconds, we measure the reaction of the points to the administered energy and not the actual existing energy at the point. This is the GSR.

The current situation of the point is the skin resistance of the point, administered at a precise moment without any influence from the apparatus.
When the duration of the measurement is 50 milliseconds (preferably) we measure BP, the situation of the point, without any influence at the point from the apparatus.

Through measuring BP exclusively, we can reliably read the energetic state of the meridians and this allows us to be in direct contact with the meridian deep in the skin.

Variation of skin resistance
Measurements were conducted every 20 minutes over a 24 hour period at the endpoints of the 12 main meridians through the means of BP. It was discovered from this research that the skin resistance increases enormously during sleep.

High skin resistance corresponds to a low Chi value, and a low skin resistance corresponds to a high Chi value in the meridians. Also measured and analyzed during this research were the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and the level of cortisol in the body.

The research provided the following findings:
• Skin resistance strongly increases during sleep.
• In accordance with Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chi withdraws into the body during sleep.
• There is a strong link between the activity of the automatic nervous system (ANS) and the
skin resistance on the endpoints.
• The 24 hours of measurements on the endpoints produce no indication of an ‘organ clock.’
• The skin resistance measurements at the endpoint, measured correctly, proved to be a
standard for the Chi of the 12 main meridians (the left 12 and the right 12 equal a total of 24)

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)
The autonomic nervous system regulates the involuntary functions of our body. It is controlled by the thalamus and has connections with the limbic system, emotions, and the brain cortex.

The ANS is the central governing mechanism in our body which regulates basic functions such as breathing, metabolism, cardiovascular functions, digestion, hormones, the immune system, mitochondrion activities, and homeostasis.

These functions are independent of an individual’s desire or conscience.

There is a link between skin resistance measurements, acupuncture and the ANS.
There is a link between the anatomical position of the plexus of the ANS and the position of the chakras. The origination of the chakra is always the plexus of the ANS.
